Fixed...... again

Let's hope this one holds for awhile.

Now I can go to Mexico and not have to worry about this stupid shed!

WTF?

We had a bit of a windstorm last week. I checked the shed and it was fine. Got a call from a neighbor today and half the shed is gone!

The only thing that's happened since the windstorm is a cold snap down to -26C or so. From the looks of the plastic that's shredded it broke in the cold. Gonna be a b*tch to fix this one in the cold.

Stumbling around the Interwebs....

I happened across this pic....

That was taken by 6one3 Photo while on our fall cruise at Calabogie racetrack. Looks good eh? I think I'll add a supercharger next spring! *wink*

Anybody had 'nuff of winter yet? We're on a countdown (14 days) to Mexico! Wohoo! Stay frosty my friends!

Update:

We've had 5 days of good weather in the +6 to +9 deg C range. Almost all of the snow we've had is gone so I was able to get out in the boat shed today. The repairs seem to be holding up well. There's a few places where the ground is soaked but that's normal. I plan to cover them up with plywood anyways.

Really looking forward to getting out there and getting back at it soon! Standby..

-27C Time to break out the long sleeve shirts!

Yes it's a might bit chilly out there this morning! Anywho, it's been almost 2 months since the shed repair. I'm happy to report it appears to be holding up well.

The battens hold up a bit more snow than before but it doesn't appear to be a problem. We've had about 2 1/2' of snow since mid December and most of it's stayed put. It'd take me a week to shovel out a path to the shed so I'll just let it sit till spring when hopefully I can get back at boat building full time!

Hope everyone is well and happy and had a great holiday. Take care.
