Picked up a 6" RO pneumatic sander today. I had one but couldn't find the hook & loop discs to fit it. Anywho, I realized after about 2 mins of using the new sander I've been working with Toy Tools my entire life! This lil' beauty (well not really beautiful) works great. What took me 3 hrs with the electric took me an hour today with this one.
I've got a bunch of other air tools but most are crap. I tried my die grinder and it doesn't work worth $hit! At least there's some progress being made. Should be laying fiberglass out tomorrow and hopefully get the keel all laid up and glued by this weekend.

Oh My Aching Back
When I had my little skateboard accident last summer I not only messed up my knee but pulled something in my back. Working on my knees sanding really flares it up and gets it angry.
Spent a couple of days this week fixing my mistakes. Plenty of sanding and more sanding and did I mention lots of sanding?
All of the nice shiny epoxy has to go away if there's any chance the next layer of glass and epoxy will stick. There's one small section where it appears the epoxy didn't get enough hardener. Carburetor Cleaner makes short work of cleaning that up. Those spots will get ground down to bare ply and get patches put in.
Back at it again tomorrow if I survive my first session of physio! *sigh*
Standby.

Let's get to it
Despite Mother Nature's pure nastiness this week I managed to get out in the shed. Just tinkering mind you but getting ready for some real work.
Charging the epoxy dispenser.
Replaced one of the valves in the resin side. I destroyed the last one trying to clean it. Doh!
There's a lot of cleanup to do after this winter's wind damage to the shed. That'll be the rest of the afternoon at least.
I know it ain't much but it's a start.
