She:Kon, pronounced "Say-go" is a traditional Iroquois greeting that means "Do you still have the Great Peace?". The Great Peace is the cornerstone of the Iroquois belief system. We decided to call our boat She:Kon in part to honor these great First Nations people and the place we live, Iroquois ON.
